About Joseph Taute

Joseph Taute is a born and raised Austinite with a knack for customer service and extensive knowledge of the Austin Area. Through countless years of school and hands-on experience in the industry, Joseph has developed a strong passion for all aspects of the real estate market, naturally, by following in the footsteps of his mother, a successful real estate agent, and utilizes valuable knowledge and experience gained by working for his father’s home building business throughout his early adulthood. His attention to detail and enthusiasm for entrepreneurship gives his clients an advantage in the constantly evolving Austin real estate market.

After attending the University of New Mexico to study Business Management, he has found his way to the real estate profession by way of over 13 years in sales and management. He has built an invaluable network of Austin business owners and industry leaders of all types, allowing him to provide unrivaled service to his clients while navigating the process of buying and selling homes in Austin.

Joseph is an Austin native and lives in the Oak Forest neighborhood. This is his favorite neighborhood because of how family-oriented it is. It has a really cool family vibe with quiet, quirky, and funky architecture. Your home will be surrounded by large trees, deer, and inviting parks. The best part? You are extremely close to several Greenbelt hiking trails.

Community Involvement

As a long-time member of Temple Beth Israel, Joseph is active in the Jewish Community and gives back by volunteering at Meals on Wheels.

Personal Life

Joseph is married to his college sweetheart, Shauna, and together they have three young children, two sons, Brooks and Owen, and one daughter, Emery. He has a passion for sports and fitness and in his free time, enjoys hiking and being outdoors, indulging in Austin’s food scene, and spending time with his family.
