Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, our colleague, Patti Tauber, was a practicing Geriatric Social Worker for ten years, and she now leverages her previous training and professional experience to help clients through their housing transitions.

“While most of my buyers and sellers have been interested in residential homes for their own personal use, I’ve had a few clients purchase homes with the intent of converting them to assisted living group homes,” Patti said.

In the summer of 2020, a property became available in a quiet residential Round Rock neighborhood that perfectly fit the bill for a group home conversion.

“My client purchased the house and has spent the past two years extensively renovating to create a premier assisting living residence, which is opening its doors in spring 2022.”
